Colin is the London Swimming Director.
Colin spent ten years working for the Amateur Rowing Association in a variety of roles with responsibility for business, strategy and communication. Prior to that Colin was a performance rowing coach. Colin majored in Psychology and holds a Masters in Coaching Studies and a Diploma in International Sports Law.
Colin’s role is to oversee all aspect of London Swimming.

Janna is one of the London Swimming Development Officers.
Janna achieved her ASA Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification at the age of 18. She taught swimming in a number of different environments. Janna studied Marketing at University and worked in the industry for over 4 years; at Sainsbury’s, Kodak and Scope (national disability charity). Janna joined London Swimming in October 2005.
Janna’s role is to develop swimming across the capital with a focus on disability swimming, synchronised swimming and swimming in the East ProActive Region.

Ben is one of the London Swimming Development Officers.
Ben has an extensive knowledge of the sports world, working for a number of years within National Governing Bodies of Sport gaining experience at all levels. Ben has a great deal of experience in management of blue ribbon sports events such as Henley Royal Regatta. Ben, like a number of the team, has experience of coaching and in past years has been known to work as a Beach Lifeguard in the cold North East.
Ben’s role is to develop swimming across the capital with a focus on open water swimming water polo and swimming in the South & Central ProActive Regions

Cathy is one of the London Swimming Development Officers.
Cathy has worked in the leisure industry for over 10 years, in leisure centres, Universities and for a local authority in London. Her roles have included Swimming Teaching, Sports co-ordinator, Duty Manager, and Sports Development Officer.
Cathy's role is to facilitate the development of aquatic opportunities within London for people of all ages and abilities with a focus on the West and North sub-regions and in Masters and competitive swimming. Working closely with all key partners in London in particular the Pro-active partnerships and major pool operators to ensure quality programmes and experiences.

Jo is the ASA Diving Development Officer for the South of England.
Jo started as the South East Diving Development officer, was a diver for 9 years as a child before moving into weightlifting.
Jo’s role is to oversee the development of diving in the 4 southern regions by working with clubs on Swim 21, LTAD and making sure there are clear athlete development pathways in place. Flip'n'Fun and NPTS are also a priority to increase the awareness and opportunities of Diving in England. Jo is also overseeing the Junior Talent programme.

Mark has worked in the Leisure Industry for over ten years and has extensive experience gathered from a variety of different roles and organisations, including Lifeguard, Swimming Teacher, Duty Manager and a Swimming Development Co-ordinator. Mark also has a BSc (Hons) in Sports Studies and Leisure Management.
Mark’s role is to develop the Teacher/Coach Training Programme in London for the Institute of Swimming.

Suzanne is the ASA Top Up Swimming Coordinator for London and South East.
Suzanne has worked in a variety of professional swimming teaching and coaching capacities, Senior Swimming Instructor, Education, Swimming Development Manager, Head Coach, National Age Group Development Coach.
Suzanne's current role within the ASA structure is to provide guidance and support for Partnership Development Managers and all organisations engaged in the planning and delivery of the Top Up Scheme.
Her remit is now widening and her responsibilities include acting as an advocate for swimming in schools, ensuring all parties involved in the development and organisation of schools swimming have a clear vision of the key principles and pathways.

Jo is the ASA Business Manager for London.
Jo has come from an operational background, managing a variety of wet and dry facilities in the East and South East. Jo is a fully qualified ASA Swimming Teacher and has been for over 15 years, and has vast experience in managing a number of learn to swim schemes.
Jo’s role is to develop relationships with leisure providers, operators and swim schools in London. Jo provides support and advice in the transfer and implementation of the National Plan for Teaching Swimming, Aquamark, ASA Awards, School Swimming, Teacher/Coach licensing and Swimfit. Jo’s role is diverse and if she can’t help, she knows someone that can.

Yvette is the ASA Volunteering Manager and the British Swimming Schools Competition Manager.
Before joining British Swimming Yvette worked at Sport England in a number of roles, most recently managing the School Club links programme that is part of the PE, School Sport and Club Links programme.
Yvette's role within swimming is divided between delivering a Volunteer Support Programme to help recruit and retain more volunteers within our sports and also working with the English Schools Swimming Association to develop a school competition framework and deliver the UK School Games.

Mick is the IOS Regional Talent Development Coach London & East Region.
Mick has had a long coaching career of forty plus years working at every level from beginner to Olympian.
Mick’s role centres around the delivery of AASE programme for the regions apprentices. He is also responsible for the Level One & Two English National Talent Development Programme delivered locally in the two regions.

Jo is the ASA Everyday Swim Project Co-ordinator for Lewisham.
Jo worked in the leisure industry and has a background in teaching and coaching swimming.
Jo’s Role is to increase participation in Lewisham amongst Older People, Young People and Black and Minority Ethnic Communities.

Annabel is the ASA Everyday Swim Project Co-ordinator for Islington.
Annabel was a National level swimmer in her native, Australia, and has combined her love of the sport with her degrees in Commerce and Business Management.
Annabel's role is to co-ordinate the Everyday Swim project in Islington with a focus on learning from the best practice examples of the wider fitness industry. With the support of Islington Council and Aquaterra Leisure, Annabel is delivering new ways to attract and retain the Islington population to swimming, and developing an infrastructure to deliver these new formats.

Ellie is the IOS Tutor for London & South East.
Ellie has worked in the leisure industry for over 20 years, in a number of roles. Ellie has also been a competitive swimmer. Ellie has extensive experience of delivering courses in both ASA courses and other training courses such as NPLQ, First Aid at Work, Health and Safety, Manual Handling etc.
Ellie's role is to deliver the IOS programme of ASA coach education, including UKCC and CPD seminar across both London & the South East.

Nikola Jovanovic
Nikola played professional water polo in the Serbian Premier League. After his playing career he stayed in sport as a coach, manager and the director of Nis water-polo club.
Nikola was one of the key individuals who enabled Nis Water Polo club to enter the European water polo competition and developed the club to be the best sports organization in Nis and the country. Nickola hold a M.S in Engineering.
Nikola joined London swimming at the end of March 2008.
Nik will be delivering high quality water polo and mini-polo sessions and CPD opportunities in the West Sub-region (Brent, Harrow, Hillingdon, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, Hounslow)
