Competitive Swimming
London Swimming runs Championships at regional level and relies on counties (Middlesex, Essex, Surrey and Kent) and clubs to provide the next layers of competition. Those competing at the London Championships can post times to qualify for National events.
London has a Competitive Swimming manager - Kay Grimshaw and a commitee that meets quarterly.
London also has a coaching forum which pulls together the lead coaches in Swim 21 Clubs who are producing swimmers at national level to make sure the opportunties offered are 'coach led and athlete centred'. To contact the coaches forum - email mick.hepwood@swimming.org
