We want your opinion on the services the ASA offer!
As a governing body, the ASA would like to offer the best service it can to its membership. In order to do this we need to know how members rate our services. To help with this we are asking you to take 10-15 minutes of time to complete the Member Satisfaction Questionnaire which can be accessed via the following link:
http://www.survey.lboro.ac.uk/asa/
The results of the questionnaire, which will be made public, will provide information that will be used to improve services and therefore the more responses we get the better.

It’s not often that you get the opportunity to stand at the bottom of the diving pool as it is being built.
Colin Brown (RD), Michelle Weltman, London board member and Newham Council, Gareth Kirk from GLL and officials coaches and athletes from Newham swimming club had all been invited to take a walking tour of the aquatics centre. Partly this was to celebrate the work going on in Newham to create an aquatics legacy 3 years out from the games. Standing in a 6m hole at the bottom of the diving pit looking up at the wonderful curving roof while they poured the concrete for the foundations of the diving board was truly inspiring. Roll on the games! You can view pictures from this visit

Waterpolo News from Nick Jovanovic (West London Waterpolo coach)
Last weekend regular junior water polo sessions continued running throughout west London. There were sessions in Fulham and St Paul School with Penguins WPC, with SP Barnes at St Paul boys school, with Ealing S.C. houses in Acton and Gurnell and in Highgrove pool. A list of sessions and times around West London can be found
here. Last weekend the best U14 players from sessions around West London joined together to form a team to play in the London League Tournament in Watford. Players from Highgrove, Acton, Gurnell, Fulham and St Pauls played really well together and had a great result of a 2 wins and a drew. Next weekend will be a London League competition at Whitgift school for our U12 team.
This week Jemma Konuralp (Swim 21 Quality co-ordinator) had a great time at the Enfield SC presentation evening where she was pleased to hear that a substantial amount of their club records were broken at the club championships this year. She also visited Sutton & Cheam SC to introduce Kate O’Neil (County Swimming Coordinator for the South) and was very happy to hear that as they have been ticking items off the top of their twelve month action plan they have been adding new action points on the bottom! Jemma is assessing Eltham Stingrays this evening and also attending the Seymour Synchro Christmas show tomorrow evening which she is very much looking forward to.
Next week Jemma will be assessing Out to Swim who are the first masters only club to go through the process in London and will be meeting with Feltham SC regarding their re-accreditation next year.
This week Kate O’Neill (County Swimming Co-ordinator, South London) went to meet Sutton and Cheam swim club, a newly accredited Swim21 club. It was a positive meeting and she was impressed at how they were moving forward and extending the action plan put in place by the Swim21 process. Also congratulations to their Water polo team in moving up to the First Division. Kate is looking forward to working with and supporting them in the future.
