New Chairman for Management Board
LondonSwimming is delighted to welcome Richard Graham as Chairman of London Swimming.
Richard has worked in the sports industry since the mid-1980s, having worked for agencies, federations, and major events and has run both public and private companies, delivering sponsorship and media rights sales. Richard’s background and experience have been gained both in the UK and abroad.
“I am delighted to have been selected as Chairman of London Swimming. I hope to bring some fresh ideas and initiatives to aquatics in London. This is an exciting time for aquatics in London and throughout the UK.  The ASA's recent sponsorship agreement with British Gas and the Mayor of London's commitment to developing sport within the city have helped create a platform for growth in all aspects of aquatic sport and recreation.
With the commercial and political will clearly in place we now have the opportunity to promote change within the habits of Londoners. We must aim to get more of them into pools and also secure more facilities for them to use. I look forward to the challenge that lies ahead”, Richard Graham, Chairman, London Swimming.
Colin Brown, Director of London Swimming welcomed Richard on board adding “Richard brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his role as Chairman of London Swimming. I look forward to working closely with him over the next four years to bring real benefits to Londoners in terms of enhanced Aquatic provision”.
