London holds ASA Council
On Saturday 11 October London will hold a prestigious event that has not graced the capital for many years.
London will be playing host to the rest of the ASA family at Selsdon Park Hotel in Croydon.
The ASA Council takes place ever year and rotates around the eight ASA regions. With the banner for host Olympic city passing to London it is appropriate that London takes on the role of host for this event.
London is doubly honoured as Kay Grimshaw former London President, and current ASA and London Board member will be awarded the title of ASA President for 2008-9. In this role Kay and her stalwart husband Fred will tour the country promoting aquatics, awarding prizes and acting on behalf of the ASA in many formal occasions.
