London Masters Swimming need to hire a central London Pool for a Masters Fun

Colin Brown (RD): This weekColin has been preparing funding bids and plans for Sport England and answering queries around the free swimming for over 60 years agenda. Colin has also spent time looking at the progress being made in Barking & Dagenham Industrial Scale Change Project

At the end of the week Colin is meeting with Cannons Leisure and touring facilities in Hounslow.
Next week: Colin has meeting with Merton and Westminster Councils. Colin is also meeting with UCL and Imperial College Directors of Sport to look at how we can extend pathways into the education sector.

This week Jo Calvino (Aquatic Programme Development Co-ordinator) has been looking into potential venues for master classes and workshops for the future, She's been doing some coaching at Putney and finalising the details of the Diving programme soon to be established. Jo also caught up with Janna Callan to gain more knowledge on synchro structures and how we can start move things forward for the development of the discipline, and also the Diving Manager, Stacia Szczerbiuk to look at plans and delivery
for diving. Jo continues to work on plans for the Annual Conference, which this year takes place on Sunday 14th September at St Paul’s School, SW13.
This week Janna Callan (RDO) has spent the week working in Barking and Dagenham on the summer and term time pool programme. Next week, Janna will be finalising the term time programme for Barking and Dagenham and meeting with the local clubs to up date them on the project.
Annabel Kehoe (EDS-Islington) is on annual leave.
This week Jemma Konuralp (Swim21 Quality coordinator) has been working on her presentation for the Annual Conference on 14th September 2008; she also attended her first Swim 21 National Panel yesterday. Next week she is continuing with her presentation along with actioning a number of points from the National Panel.
