Xavier takes Gold and Bronze at European's

Xavier Mohammed wins Gold and Bronze at European Junior Championships

Xavier from Bexley was the first British athlete to win gold after an excellent performance in the boys 200m Individual Medley.

Mohammed touched for the first 50m in fourth place but came back and touched in the lead at 100m. The Bexley swimmer, who already won bronze in the 400m Freestyle, touched home in 2:00.73.

Xavier was coached by Shelly Camy before her departure to a new job in Australia.
