Director of Swimming for Southwark

Fusion working in partnership with London Swimming, Southwark Council and Seven Islands Swimming Club have appointed Kevin Yardley as the new Director of Swimming for Southwark.

Over the last 12 months the partnership has developed a comprehensive plan to develop aquatics in Southwark from bottom to top. By appointing Kevin Yardley as Director of Swimming the partnership feel that they now have a key individual who will lead the provision of swimming in the Borough from learn to swim to performance. The Scheme has attracted external funding from Kellogg’s Swim Active programme and will enable every child in Southwark to have a swimming passport to encourage structured pool use.
