At the Olympic/Paralympic Trials held last week in Sheffield, London swimmer Dervis Konuralp successfully reached the qualifying time for the Beijing Paralympics in the 100 Fly event.
His time of 1.02.48 was also a new British record. Dervis will be swimming in the second part of the trials at the end of April and is hoping for a place on the Paralympic Team, which will be announced on the 1st of May.
